The event was held on 11.11.2021 at the Safa Thermal Hotel Conference Hall with a total of 60 participants in order to contribute to the visibility of the project as a part of the event currently organized throughout the district. Sorgun District Governor, Mayor of Sorgun, District Director of Agriculture and Forestry, District Director of National Education and its staff, heads and members of NGOs, and students participated in the event. On behalf of the Consultant, Ms. Burcu ARAS; Sorgun Mayor, Mr. Erkut EKİNCI; and Sorgun District Governor, Mr. Halil İbrahim KAZAR made informative and awareness raising speeches, respectively. Moreover, the Project Informative Film was shown, Project Introduction Brochures were distributed to the participants. By the end of the meeting, all participants were transferred to the afforestation area to plant saplings/trees.
